myStore Technology Overview

  • myStore Technology

myStore has been created as an enabling technology, one which can be readily integrated with other applications. To achieve this successfully, great care was taken in selecting its technology architecture. The result is that whether you are using myStore in conjunction with Vision, another integrated application or intend to have myStore integrated to an application of your own, its technology platform will give you seamless and reliable service.

myStore employs a services oriented architecture (SOA) throughout. It uses web services and xml compliant with all relevant standards and best practices. The software itself has been developed using the .NET family of technologies for both its server and PDA based components. The databases for both platforms is Microsoft SQL Server (SQLCE for handheld devices). PDA devices support the major local and remote networking technologies including 802.11, GSM, CDMA and G3 and run in both PocketPC and WindowsCE environments.

To further enhance and simplify integration with third party applications, the native web service framework is extended with a smart agent framework. This framework provides a full range of integration services incorporating schedulers, email, exception handlers, logging, xsl and supports every possible type of integration mechanism including web service, proprietary API, file transfer, direct database operations in fact virtually anything which can be coded. The framework allows new agents to be quickly created and deployed. Existing agents already integrate Java (J2EE), older COM-interfaced applications and even interface proprietary technologies and platforms.
